Like many other sports, Cowboy Mounted Shooting has many aspects that require a solid start in order to be successful!

The New Shooter's Clinic is specifically designed to encourage the relationship between horse and rider.

The clinic is normally limited to 30 students, to ensure we have enough time to work with everyone on a one on one basis, and make sure you and your horse have a successful clinic.

The first day of the clinic is designed to have you familiar with shooting a .45, answering questions, and going over what you need to know.  We also focus on getting the horse ready and riding and shooting. Please bring lunch and water for you and your horse!

We will  have NRA Certified Instructors that also participate in the sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting to coach you through the best way to combine handling a pistol while negotiating a course.

We will give an overview of the different types of firearms/holsters and also possible tack for your animals to make them comfortable so they will have as much fun as you are.
